The administrative affairs of the Department is managed by the Head of Department. This position is currently occupied by Dr. Theophillus Adjei-Kumi. Theophillus joined the Department of Building Technology in 1998 as a Lecturer at both the Undergraduate and Post-graduate Levels. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Building Technology at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. He furthered his education at University of Strathclyde Glasgow, Scotland in MSc Construction Management and then PhD Civil Engineering (Construction Management) in the same Institution. He is currently the Coordinator for Postgraduate studies and Head of Department.
